We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Worthington, IN production facility.

This position is a key member of the site leadership team responsible for all maintenance activities and leading an experienced team of maintenance mechanics and electricians. The Maintenance Supervisor collaborates across various departments and utilizes creative problem-solving skills to foster innovation and further develop team members.

This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

What You’ll Do:

  • Safety oriented, work closely with site leadership, to implement safety improvement projects.
  • Customer focused, work closely with site leadership, to implement quality and productivity improvement projects
  • Accountable for scheduling, prioritization and execution of preventative maintenance, routine maintenance and all capital projects managed at the location. Lead the planning of off-season maintenance to ensure critical and non-critical equipment is serviced or replaced.
  • Serve as site contact for all capital projects and monitor / manage progress to ensure projects are completed within allotted time and budget parameters.
  • Ensure completion and updating appropriate records, documents, and/or reports (e.g. standard operating procedures, CORE permits, vendor/contractor verification, inventory, quality records, training manuals etc.).
  • Implement and monitor maintenance KPI’s to reduce equipment downtime and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and mentor site in business planning development and review for assigned areas, establishing a five-year capital plan, including defined project scope and projected cost. Also, responsible for establishing a three-year maintenance plan and estimated costs.
  • Lead a team consisting of plant electricians, automation specialists, maintenance technicians, and a maintenance planner/scheduler. Be accountable for their development, and their work performance.
  • Lead the assigned team in developing resource plans for shift and/or seasonal labor needs.
  • Supports business improvement projects.

Education:

  • You have your High School Diploma/GED.

What Skills You Need:

  • You have industrial maintenance experience and/or experience in leading large-scale capital projects.
  • You have 3 years of leadership experience (i.e. program/process lead, supervisory experience, etc.).
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and are solutions oriented.
  • You have good organization, prioritization and time-management skills in order to drive projects to on time completion.
  • You are experienced in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You have a valid US drivers license.
  • You are willing and able to work a primarily daytime scheduled with extended hours and weekends to support operations as needed.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience with a CMMS system such as SAP.
  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • LEAN/SMED, Six Sigma experience.
  • Familiarity with PLC Programming.
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
