This is an onsite position.
This position plays a key role in providing IT support for various Windows and Linux-based technologies, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems while supporting mission-critical operations. This is part of a dynamic environment that has opportunities for technical growth and innovation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide IT systems support for a wide range of Windows & Linux based technologies, including Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policy Editor
Manage the installation and integration of hardware, system fixes, updates, and enhancements
Resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex or non-routine issues
Write and maintain documentation for supported services, processes, and configurations
Maintain relationships with customers with diverse needs and offer solutions tailored to their requirements
Review, plan, test, and implement Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)
Support the development and maintenance of Operating Systems by ensuring the system's stability and security
Provide recommendations for system improvements and troubleshooting
Work closely with other IT professionals, contractors, and vendors to optimize the operational capabilities of the systems
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related scientific discipline with 2+ years of IT experience, particularly in IT systems administration or related fields. An Associate’s degree with 4+ years or a High School Diploma with 6+ years of Systems Support/Administration experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Must possess an active IAT II Cybersecurity Workforce IA Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.)
Must be able to obtain an Operating System Certificate (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate) within 6 months of hire
