Position Summary

Conducts organizational studies and evaluations, designs systems and procedures, conducts work simplifications and measurement studies and prepares operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Develops and assists in tracking metrics for business processes. Collects, documents, and maintains business requirements for technology and business process driven projects or tasks. Supports established relationships with business counter-parts and becomes a credible partner, who seeks to understand business issues. Creates benchmarks and insights based on analytic techniques to address issues and improve financial and operational performance.  

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to support contract lifecycle activities and vendor coordination
  • Gathers and organizes information on problems or procedures. 
  • Analyzes gathered data and develops solutions or alternative approaches. 
  • Confers with personnel concerned to ensure the successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. 
  • Assist in managing low-complexity or smaller-scale contracts, including documentation, tracking, and reporting
  • Creates and reviews analytical/statistical reports and confers with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and identifies problems and improvements. 
  • Utilize enterprise systems to manage financial, contract, and operational data
  • Conducts on-site observation and personnel interviews to determine workflow processes and needs. 
  • Review, process, and reconcile invoices associated with managed contracts
  • Prepares manuals and trains workers to use new forms, reports, procedures, or equipment, in accordance with organizational policy.
  • Designs, evaluates, recommends, and approves changes to forms and reports. 
  • Plans study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis. 
  • Plans and facilitates meetings and communications within assigned department. 
  • Communicates effectively in writing in response to periodic internal and/or external customer correspondence. 
  • Provides business costs and/or operations analysis. 
  • Develops methods for communicating key performance indicators to business unit area (internal and external customers) and contributes to scorecard efforts to provide appropriate detail on improvements. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Accounting, Finance or other quantitative field.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred
  • Experience supporting contract management, vendor relations, or procurement processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills 
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or Economics.
