Job Summary:
North Stone is hiring a Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Analyst who will be within a team of SharePoint developers, UI Designers, and existing BAs and QAs. They will be responsible for creating requirements, developing project documentation, and testing applications. This role has two main components - Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will cover testing, implementation and support custom software applications used to support the company’s operations. The applicant will be involved in the full software development life cycle with primary focus on developing and executing test plans and automated tests. Responsibilities broken out below.
- Ensure key performance metrics are reviewed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform detailed analysis on behaviors and processes impacting inventory integrity
- Possess or gain expertise in key process paths and exception handling ensuring that internal and external customers adhere to process discipline
- Support testing efforts for projects (queries, reports/database creation)
- Develop, publish and implement use cases and technical requirements (performance, scalability, security and usability) as required
- Develop an understanding of the users current processes to support requirements development, use cases and testing
- Develop User Acceptance Testing Plan/Go Live Plan
- Facilitate UAT with stakeholders and document results
- Provide updats on status of assigned tasks (progress and issues)
- Collaborate and support larger team with issue resolution
- Create test cases based on functional specifications
- Perform QA testing

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
- Active Secret clearance required.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum: 3 to 5 years of BA/QA experience including:
- Experience with JIRA
- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
- Ability to translate requirements into functional specifications
- Test new features and functions to ensure code meet requirements
- Experience in testing planning, test execution and defect management and resolution
- Knowledge of QA practices such as functional, integration, system and regression testing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Be comfortably working with teams and customers across time zones
- Familiarity with scrum initiatives
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Maintain customer service focus to build client relationships
Preferred Experience:
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a medical system
- High levels of initiative, flexibility, adaptability and responsiveness in an environment with changing demands
- Knowledge of data structures, database designs, analytic and ETL tools
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries
- Able to write scripts in Python or Ruby or Java or any other programming languages
Certifications
- Preferred: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
