Floor & Decor is looking for a Chief Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of a cloud-native, service-oriented, and scalable architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap to senior management, business stakeholders, and IT teams.

• Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices for cloud-native, microservices, and API-based solutions.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of cloud platforms, services, and tools to support the business objectives and requirements.
• Oversee the design and development of the Oracle Retail suite and its integration with other enterprise systems and applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to architects, developers, and engineers across the organization.
• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to identify and resolve architecture issues and risks.
• Monitor and assess the performance, availability, security, and scalability of the enterprise architecture and recommend improvements and enhancements.
• Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to optimize the architecture and enable data-driven insights and decision making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on cloud-native, service-oriented, and scalable solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of the business processes, challenges, and opportunities.
• Proficiency in major cloud platform services such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services
• Experience with Kubernetes and hosting of containerized services at scale.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, RESTful, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in the Oracle Retail suite and its integration with other enterprise systems and applications.
• Familiarity with key SaaS solutions:  Salesforce, Manhattan Associates, Workday, and Kronos a plus.
• Experience in applying AI and ML techniques to enhance the architecture and deliver business value.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of security best practices and standards, such as encryption, authentication, and authorization.
• Understanding of data modeling, database design, and data management techniques.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
