About the Position

The Case Administrator – Special Projects positions will provide direct and indirect support to youth, families, and staff as a Positive Growth Facilitator through the primary use of the Journey.do online platform. This position will entail youth programming in a secure care setting which will include technical supports for various tasks in the Journey.do platform as well as special project support across the Juvenile Probation Department.

Position Qualifications

We recognize your time is valuable, so please apply if you meet the following required qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Social Services, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field

OR

Combined Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Prior probation or court-related experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

  • No prior criminal arrests

Our Preferred Candidate Has:

  • Experience working with justice-involved youth and/or youth-based programs

  • Prior probation or court-related experience

  • Experience in case management and/or project maintenance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • The Criminal Justice System or the principals of Social Work

  • Computer software including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheets, database applications, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Positive Youth Development

Skill in:

  • Working independently and in a team setting

  • Interacting with and obtaining information from clients

  • Oral and written communication

  • Organization and time management

  • Communication and problem solving

Ability to:

  • Work in a secure care and community probation setting with staff, youth and their families

  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Evaluate and process complex information and recommend appropriate action

  • Work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment

  • Work in a high-paced environment while meeting deadlines

Essential Job Tasks

  • Provides direct support and case management for special project implementation and department-wide rollouts

  • Proficiency in the Journey.do platform to assist youth, families and staff with platform application as well as technical issues
