Job Summary

Under the leadership and tactical guidance of a SAP COE Leader, the Director – SAP Record to Report (DIR SAP RTR) will collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants to help design, develop, deploy and support solutions in SAP S/4HANA and all other associated bolt-ons to meet business unit needs for “Record to Report” business processes. The incumbent will also play a critical role in supporting the development of the architecture and implementation of SAP S4HANA and its associated support within the operating subsidiaries and the holding company for Terumo in North and South America as well as in Europe and Asia.

Job Details/Responsibilities

Build SAP Record to Report work stream Team:

• Work with key IT and SAP COE leaders in defining the team structure to support the design, development, deployment and support of the Target State Record to Report Processes enabled by SAP S/4HANA.

Architecture of SAP Solution:

• In collaboration with CIO and key SAP COE Leaders and project consultants, Develop and maintain roadmap for the Record to Report solutions, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry, SAP best practices and solution roadmap
• Responsible for developing standard business process design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP S/4HANA solution along with any bolt-on for all “Record to Report Processes” 
• Provides process expertise and solutions in Finance Accounting, General Ledger, Controlling, Fixed Assets, FSCM, Consolidation, Tax, Revenue Recognition area (RAR) and integration with other SAP Modules and non-SAP tools like Hyperion, Edicom, Paymetric, Blackline, Ariba, Concur and OneSource.
• Proactively and effectively communicate and collaborate with the SAP COE Leader, PMO, Project Team and Business Stakeholders to address the need for SAP S/4HANA bolt-on and other integrated applications (e.g., Hyperion, Onesource, Esker, IBP, HRIS, MDG, Edicom etc.) which have relevance across Terumo operations.
• Enhance business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions to meet business needs.
• Manage key integration points across process teams to ensure they are properly accounted for from a Financial Integration perspective.
• Manage design efforts for cross-functional processes (SAP Hierarchy etc)
• Work with the SAP COE and IT Leaders across Functional and Technology Workstreams, SME’s, PMO and Consulting Partner in defining the scope and management of the integration testing cycles
• Develop cutover strategy and plan in coordination with the CIO, IT and key SAP COE Leaders, Functional and Technology Workstreams, SME’s, PMO and Consulting Partner.
• Utilize and build on basic knowledge in areas such as IDOCs, batch job processing to troubleshoot and suggest improvements
• Perform Fit/Gap assessment and finalize functional specifications
• Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify any requirements as needed
• Perform unit testing and ensure satisfaction of the documented requirements
• Act as main design and support authority for the Record to Report team in collaboration with Business stakeholders.
• Timely Development and communication of weekly/monthly/quarterly status reports to SAP COE Leader and Project Leader.

Implementation of SAP in Terumo Americas:

• Work with IT Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, SME’s, PMO, (external) Consulting Team and (internal) Core Business Team for the successful design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing of the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Work with the SAP COE and IT Leaders across Functional and Technology Workstreams, SME’s, PMO and Consulting Partner in defining the scope and management of the integration testing cycles
