The role of Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer is to support customers and the organization with technical knowledge of industry standards and the ability to interpret customer contracts and drawings. This function will interface with the customer and internal functions to clarify contractual requirements, analyze process data and support operations to maintain the highest level of quality for our services.
This position reports to the Quality Manager, we are seeking an individual that will be responsible for the following:
- Contact point for customer feedback and response to customer issues
- Lead cross functional teams in problem solving/root cause analysis including Corrective/Preventive actions
- Perform audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) to drive continuous improvements, create and maintain QMS documentation
- Interface with vendors for product/service resolution
- Provide feedback to Production and Process Engineering regarding product/processing issues
- Evaluate process and test results to customer requirements, industry standards, and Micross internal procedures/programs
- Support and maintain quality management software package (Q-Pulse)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 5-yr experience in Quality Assurance in Electronics manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001
- Familiar with government and industry standards such as IPC, MIL, SAE, ASTM
- Familiar with inspection equipment such as microscopes, measurement tools
- Ability to multitask, maintaining project completion deadlines
- MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
