Location: The Fountainhead Group | New York Mills, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $25.00 – $29.00/hour + $0.50 shift differential
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for keeping machines running smoothly? The Fountainhead Group is looking for a dependable 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical repairs, equipment setups, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You'll also help maintain jigs, fixtures, and tools to boost overall production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities
- Setup, repair and maintain machines including, but not limited to mechanical equipment systems, milling, drilling, roll form, spot welding, granulators, grinders, screen printers, punch presses and lathes. robots, drilling, injection molding, blow molding, granulators, grinders, screen printers, and general purpose automated/manual machines.
- Familiar with low voltage control systems.
- Tools and fixture build and repair.
- Promptly maintain/repair all safety and codes related to FGI facilities.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as power (electrical), air, water, heating and any other related services.
- Maintain an organized shop, work area, storage of raw materials, records and documentation.
- Organize, order, and inventory required spare parts for molding machines and critical work centers and maintain an organized spare parts storage system.
- Maintain critical PM records, logs, schedule completion(s)
- Troubleshoot tooling, equipment and processes to resolve technical and maintenance problems.
- Comply with all OSHA and FGI imposed safety rules and regulations. Work within the confines of the hazardous material guidelines.
- Maintain awareness of environmental regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.) and ensure compliance.
- Other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

USD $29.00/Hr.Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ mechanical and electrical experience.
- Experience and/or a general understanding of blow molding, injection molding, punch presses, fly wheel presses, welders, seamers and assembly equipment is preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of fabrication (welding, cutting, piping, sheet metal).
- Possess a general working knowledge of machine tool set-up and operations.
- Experience maintaining automatic and manual assembly equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Be willing and able to travel between facilities and work overtime/weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. Push/pull to move equipment. Bend/stoop/squat/kneel and reach above shoulders.
