Job Description

• Identify production bottlenecks, safety issues, and cost savings opportunities for the Multi-Purpose Facility
• Track product quality and take necessary actions to ensure that specifications are met
• Identify and pursue opportunities for process optimization
• Influence and implement HS&E improvements and ensuring that all activities satisfy the requirements of company standards including site Management of Change and Risk Assessment procedures
• Ensure proper review and documentation of process and changes for operational, safety and environmental impact
• Provide process engineering support for the chemical process area as technical expert, applying a combination of theoretical and applied knowledge to help resolve challenges

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years experience in chemical process design or production
• Knowledge of process safety, environmental regulation and programs 
• Understanding of safety, environmental and economic issues associated with the operation of a chemical plant
• Manufacturing experience in a highly complex chemical production facility
