JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is a professional accounting position that is in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation’s (DVR) Financial Payments Section that is administratively assigned to the Bureau of the Comptroller. This position performs a variety of accounting duties as well as other office duties. All duties of this position must be performed in compliance with the mandatory requirements of Section 215.422, Florida Statutes, Chapter 3A-20, Florida Administrative Code.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Incumbent audits invoices and purchase orders and prepare payment packages.
- Incumbent ensures charges on invoices are in agreement with the terms specified on the purchase orders when applicable.
- Incumbent verifies vendor name, address and amounts to be paid.
- Incumbent verifies the accuracy of mathematical extensions.
