Magnet Program Coordinator-PRN

This position is responsible for the coordination of all aspects for Magnet designation process including the planning, communication, collecting evidence, exemplar writing, application/requirement submission, evaluation, and nursing professional practice and leadership activities to assure ongoing compliance with Magnet status. The incumbent will assume the key role in the Magnet application process, including writing the document, assuming all requirements for ongoing readiness are achieved. Provides expert consultation for Magnet related metrics, standards, and improvement. Provides opportunities for non-nursing entities to integrate and contribute to the Magnet readiness process. Collaborate, informs, and supports the Chief Nursing Officer and other Nursing Directors on the strategic direction to achieve a continuous nursing excellence environment.
• Requires 5 years clinical experience in inpatient clinical settings.
• Requires experience in Magnet coordination.
• Requires experience in project management.
• Requires experience in publication and/or programmatic application writing skills.
• Previous professional publication and presentation skills at national level preferred.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills for a variety of different roles and leaders.
• Requires experience in or ability to use computerized databases. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires a Master's degree in Nursing.
