Job Description

Role purpose

  • Work in cross team collaboration on the execution of end to end order management between Sales orders from customers to shipment creation within internal systems and the farms
  • Key SAP user
  • Work in correlation with Customer Service and Planning for order management
  • Ensure vendor payments are accurate and up to date
  • Lead communication between Logistics Team and Farms, Customer Service and Planning teams
  • Assist with monitoring and shipment tracking from pick up to delivery
  • Support in the execution of primary and secondary distribution responsibilities from farm to end customer

Accountabilities

  • Manage relationship and communication with US agents at Ports of Entry
  • Create and distribute weekly routing strategy
  • Administer SAP activities such as:
    • Accounts Receivable and Invoicing
    • Indirect Purchase Order Creation and Order Adjustments
    • Delivery creation after Sourcing
    • FEU System Testing for Logistics
  • Primary team support for SAP issues and improvements
  • Review monthly vendor statements for Accounts Receivable
  • Partner with Finance to complete month-end accruals
  • Logistics Support for Accounts Payable within Ariba
  • Lead new vendor set up process
  • Assist with supply and weekly shipping schedule for temperature pucks at the farms
  • Support on requests for Shipping and Tracking information
  • Back up to Logistics Manager and other Logistics team’s duties

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Strong competence with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Shipping and Logistics experience preferred.
  • Analytical experience preferred.
  • SAP/ERP experience desired.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is considered important.
  • Exceptional and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

  • Provide clear and punctual communication with international suppliers, customers, and co-workers.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once.
  • Communicate effectively with people from various backgrounds.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Additional Information

  • Must have ability to effectively cover operational duties with Pacific Time, in some cases, also required late in the day Fridays Pacific Time.
  • A minimum of 2 years in current position is required (requirement for internal applicants only)
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
