Job Summary

 

The BI Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions that enable the organization to make data-driven decisions. Their duties include having a deep understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and analytics tools, along with strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

  • Architecture Design: Design and develop the overall BI architecture, including data models, data warehouse schemas, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
  • Data Management: Lead the development and implementation of data integration, data quality, and data governance processes to ensure reliable, accurate, and timely data delivery. Serve as lead administrator for Salesforce.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical requirements. Design and build BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, and Tableau.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of BI systems with existing IT infrastructure, including Oracle, Salesforce, GuardianRx, and other data sources.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI systems, including query performance, data load times, and report generation.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to analyst(s), and other team members. Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of BI architecture, data models, and processes for internal reference and training purposes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for BI-related queries and provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure that BI solutions comply with data privacy regulations and internal security policies.
