Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Biology/Microbiology in our Associate Degree programs.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Biology and Microbiology courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. 

Qualifications

• A master degree preferably in Biology, but any master degree with at least 18 graduate level credit hours in biology
• At least three years of experience in the field of biology/microbiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated and results driven
• Prior higher education / postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
