As a Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for building requirements through extensive analysis of current processes and a compelling view of the future-state.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs; understand the customer journey and define user requirements.
  • Engage with business partners and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands.
  • Promote architectural consistency and usability standards.
  • Participates and manages completion of all cycles of testing including application development testing, system testing, regression, user acceptance, data validation, performance and stress, or other testing as required.
  • Identify opportunities for business-led delivery; coach employees to make use of technology and information.
  • Develop comprehensive requirements documentation including both written requirements and visual mockups and wireframes.
  • Maintains documentation relating to projects, including creating and maintaining process diagrams.
  • Create user acceptance test frameworks and execute such tests during the project.
  • Work with IT teams to assist during requirements elaboration and stories creation process.
  • Seek and audit requirements traceability matrix with IT teams.
  • Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk.
  • Provide analytical assistance to team members to resolve application incidents, maintenance items, and enhancement requests.
  • Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use.
  • Coordinate application support with other IT teams.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or higher degree in technology or related disciplines
  • 8 or more years of industry experience in Insurance (brokerage or carrier side) or an allied industry
  • Financial services software implementation experience a plus (vendor, customer, or consultancy)
  • Expertise in mockup technologies: Figma, ADOBE XD, HTML, JavaScript
  • Proficient in querying and profiling data using SQL, Excel etc.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to document technical requirements effectively, using appropriate terms and vocabulary that will be clearly understood by project teams, co-workers, and users.
