WAGE: $85-90k + Bonus Potential

SUMMARY OF JOB
As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing specific Alfred locations and their overall success. The Area Manager is an exceptional hospitality leader that exemplifies strong communication skills and lives and breathes the Alfred brand. You will partner with your Cafe Managers to ensure consistency with guest service, menu, drink/food quality, and cleanliness. You are an influential leader that understands how to strategically operate a cafe within Alfred standards. Your expertise and passion for customer service, developing all star employees, high quality food and drink, and cleanliness will lead each location under your supervision to continued success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Performance and Optimization
- Maximize profitability: Drive exceptional financial performance through strategic sales growth, cost control, and efficient operations.
- Ensure operational excellence: Guarantee cafes consistently meet or exceed targets for profitability, customer satisfaction (CQA score), and accurate cash handling.
- Implement best practices: Champion the rollout of new procedures and training programs. Utilize weekly snapshots and cafe visits to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Cultivate a professional environment: Oversee employee discipline, ensure adherence to company policies, and advocate for effective scheduling practices.
- Streamline financial management: Manage inventory, wastage, and accounting procedures efficiently across all cafes in the district.
- Ensure operational compliance across all cafe locations, upholding stringent food and health standards, maintaining facility cleanliness, and managing pest control services.
- Prompt reporting of any and all workplace complaints, incidents, and HR concerns.
- Monitor and enforce team adherence to meal and rest break policies, and manage employee hours in line with established employment status guidelines.
Team Leadership and Development
- Empower your team: Coach and develop Cafe Managers and team members through ongoing evaluation, collaborative meetings, and personalized mentorship.
