Join Novonesis as a Product Quality Manager for Dairy Cultures and become part of a global, collaborative team dedicated to ensuring the right quality and high standards in Food and Beverage BioSolutions. You will play a central role in shaping product excellence and supporting our customers’ needs worldwide. 

Our team consists of six other Product Quality Managers within Food and Beverage BioSolutions and three highly skilled specialist and project leaders and a student worker. We work closely together within the quality organization, supporting each other and continuously improving our processes. Key stakeholders include the Dairy Product Management Team, Quality Operations, Sales, Marketing, R&D, and other PQMs across business unit departments. Together, we ensure Novonesis products consistently meet the right quality for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include guaranteeing the right product specifications, making final decisions on finished goods dispensations, and driving initiatives to reduce customer complaints. You will support local Quality teams in resolving non-conforming products and handle product-related complaints. Efficiency and cross-industry alignment are central, as is representing the customer’s voice from end to end.

The Role & Your Impact

• Understanding current and future requirements from customers and the market – your knowledge will be strengthened as you review customer agreements and participate in supporting customer challenges. 

• Leading quality-related discussions and decisions – A strong drive for improvement and skills within project leadership is beneficial here.

• Ensuring quality and compliance of products within the Novonesis Food and Beverage value chain – through collaboration with food safety teams and regulatory

• Promoting process efficiency and alignment across industries - 

• Representing Quality and Food Safety in cross-functional teams

What You'll Need to Be Successful

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant scientific discipline

• 5+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated leadership of teams, people, or projects

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

• Solid understanding of product formulation, manufacturing processes, or intended product use, along with quality and safety requirements

• Ability to provide consistent guidance in complex or uncertain situations and communicate clearly to support problem resolution

• Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization
