We are currently seeking an exceptional Financial Analyst II.
As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry Customers are at the heart of our business.
Provide financial analysis with a focus on EBITDA performance, work with the operational side of the business to monitor the impact of operational changes on financial performance. Act as a true business partner to operations and as a systems expert to the Finance Manager.
About You:
Weekly & monthly EBITDA & WC reporting
Reforecasting processes, both weekly and monthly
Consolidation of division financials
Systems expertise & business Intelligence
Market/Industry analysis
Commercial Support
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the weekly sales and margin reporting including the management of the dashboard process, probing to understand any issues and resolutions and ensuring an accurate forward view
Chair and support weekly dashboard calls and drive the running of the meetings to ensure the reporting reflects the last view
Act as the FP&A expert for ERP and consolidation systems
Use other BI solutions to align the structure of the reporting so that it falls under a properly defined global matrix
Support the Finance Manager to drive efficiencies in the team with reporting to eliminate the need for manual report creation
Be the main financial support for key commercial accounts, attending commercial meetings and support as required
Prepare and support sales and margin re-forecasts as appropriate; ensure any formal rebudgeting is fully understood and supported by the FP&A group
Be support for the wider FP&A team on time-sensitive projects
Participation in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.
Support customer profitability as required
Measures of Performance:
Timely reporting to a high quality
Expanded systems knowledge to cover OneStream, QlikView, and JDE
Accuracy of forecasting & early recognition of risks & opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
Education to Degree Level
Significant relevant experience in a computerized accounting environment
Significant experience of financial procedures within an operations business
Competencies and Behaviors:
Effective communication skills both written and orally, internally and externally
Ability to establish, drive and develop relationships at all levels
Experience of working with computerized accounting systems
Possess strong IT skills such as Intermediate Excel
Experience with specialized systems such as OneStream would be advantageous
