The Manager Nursing Education plans, organizes, leads, and evaluates clinical programs for the physician practice that include but are not limited to professional development, quality, clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and research. In collaboration with the Physician Practice Clinical Resource Department, Medical Directors and Operational Leaders insures that required education and ongoing skill development is accessible and relevant for all clinical areas. Education programs and materials will be evaluated to meet the learning objectives for the adult learner with demonstrated knowledge retention. Integrates research and evidence-based practice into clinical and operational.Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing or related field
- At least five (5) years of progressive, responsible relevant clinical, educational, and leadership/management experience
Preferred:
- Masters of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous experience in Nursing Staff Development
- Professional nursing certification in Professional Development
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
