The job will focus on creating Simulink models for various analog, digital and mixed-signal products including MEMS devices (gyros, accelerometers, IMUs) and precision converters (Sigma-Delta ADCs, SAR ADCs). The job will require interaction with a variety of internal business units and building a relationship with MathWorks technical representatives to stay on top of MATLAB and Simulink modeling toolbox improvements. If you are passionate about model-based design and have a proven track record in MATLAB and Simulink modeling, we invite you to apply and join our dynamic team at ADI.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>1. <u>Model Development</u>: Lead the development of Simulink models for various projects, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and scalability requirements.</p><p>2. <u>Requirements Analysis</u>: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand product requirements and translate them into detailed Simulink models.</p><p>3. <u>System Integration</u>: Work closely with system architects and engineers to integrate Simulink models into larger systems, ensuring seamless functionality.</p><p>4. <u>Optimization</u>: Identify opportunities for model optimization and implement improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.</p><p>5. <u>Verification and Validation</u>: Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Simulink models.</p><p>6. <u>Documentation</u>: Create comprehensive documentation for Simulink models, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.</p><p>7. <u>Mentorship</u>: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior model designers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.</p><p></p><p>Requirements:</p><p>- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.</p><p></p><p>- Proven experience (5+ years) in Simulink model development, including experience using the Mixed-Signal Blockset, DSP Toolbox, Control System Toolbox and Sensor and Navigation Toolboxes.</p><p></p><p>- In-depth knowledge of analog and mixed-signal systems.</p><p></p><p>- Understanding of digital systems and DSP fundamentals.</p><p></p><p>- Fundamental MATLAB programming knowledge to initialize Simulink models and create custom Simulink blocks and block masks.</p><p></p><p>- Strong understanding of system engineering principles and the ability to translate requirements into Simulink models. Experience with model-based de</p><p></p><p>- sign, code generation, and verification/validation processes.
