Job Description

Our Enterprise Product organization is seeking a Visual Designer to join the Product Design team.

Our UIs are primarily desktop browser-based applications, including dashboards, DAMs, and scheduling tools, that support NBCU’s global content supply chain. We do not design mobile or consumer-facing UIs.

Responsibilities:  

  • Design hi-fi mock-ups based on design system patterns and requirements
  • Convert lo-fi wireframes or sketches into hi-fi designs
  • Create interactive prototypes via Figma to demonstrate interactions and complex workflows
  • Apply visual design principles of composition, color, and usability to improve user experiences
  • Contribute to our design system libraries by adding or updating components, patterns, and templates for enterprise use

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years' professional experience designing and prototyping in Figma using a design system. Experience with multiple design systems a plus, especially Material Design, Salesforce Lightning, or SAP Fiori.
  • Candidates will be asked to submit one Figma file (as a link or .fig file) that demonstrates their technical expertise and file organization
  • Attention-to-detail, especially for design principles including alignment, spacing, typesetting, and proportion
  • A professional portfolio (MUST include link)
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, listening) 
  • Strong working knowledge of MacOS. Familiarity with Microsoft Office a plus
  • Experience with Accessibility a plus

Remote Workers: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
