Role Description:

• In this role, you'll be joining our Azure Engineering team within Cloud Productivity & Engineering (CPE) as a Senior Platform Engineer. This team focuses on building, developing, and supporting our Azure cloud platform to accelerate the time-to-market of innovative finance products. In collaboration with Microsoft, we aim to transform how LSEG leverages the cloud platform.
• Focussed on the Identity capabilities within the Azure cloud, you will take a focussed approach to the way identity is managed in a complex multi-Entra environment.
• Engage in designing, developing, and building complex cloud services and capabilities.
• Work alongside architects, developers, and other engineers to ensure efficient Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zone platforms.
• Influence our platform engineering roadmap and strategy
• Active involvement in decision making areas such as networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery and governance.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

• 5 years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud and hybrid Azure Platform solutions.
• Can demonstrate deep knowledge in setting up Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and hands on experience with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework from an Identity perspective.
• Proficiency using the Microsoft Graph API and the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL)
• Proficiency in all aspects of Microsft Entra administration, from PAM to PIM.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and CI/CD principles and practices.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaS) using tools like Terraform
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, team members, and management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 7 years’ hands on experience with Windows, Active Directory and Azure Entra.
• Sound understanding of financial markets.
• Comprehensive security experience, encompassing network security, incident response, risk management and compliance with regulatory standards
• Adept at collaborating in diverse teams, with excellent communication skills.
• Previous roles involving Identity administration, Azure development, and/or DevOps processes.
• Demonstrable experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Education and Professional Skills

• Relevant Professional qualifications, ideally Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related STEM degree.
