Job Description:
ADI’s Software Engineering & Solutions (SES) Business Unit is looking for an experienced .NET Software Engineer with a proven track record of hands-on experience in desktop application development for ADI products.
Responsibilities:
1. The job will focus on spearhead the development of cutting-edge desktop applications using advanced C# programming skills, with a focus on cross-platform compatibility for Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments using .NET based cross platform frameworks.
2. Leverage in-depth knowledge of the latest .NET framework versions, ensuring the incorporation of industry best practices and advancements in software development.
3. Design and contribute to the creation of customer facing product evaluation tools, enhancing the evaluation process of semiconductor hardware platforms for our customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in .NET development, with a demonstrable track record in the semiconductor domain.
- Proficiency in desktop application development using C#, emphasizing cross-platform compatibility for Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
- Must have a familiarity with desktop design patterns, including MVVM, Abstraction/Interface Design, and Dependency Injection to enhance software architecture.
- A working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and source control systems, particularly GitHub, to enable a streamlined and collaborative development process.
- Excellent communication skills, essential for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams and clear conveyance of technical concepts.
- Strong familiarity with Agile practices, promoting adaptability and iterative development cycles.
- Experience relating to the semiconductor industry is highly desirable.
Nice to Have:
Experience developing using cross-platform frameworks, such as Avalonia, to enhance the user interface and user experience across multiple operating systems, ensuring seamless functionality across Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
