Webato Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a Sr. Supervisor Production - A Crew at our facility in New Hudson, MI.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a production area and ensures that customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met.
• Carry out the goals and objectives for the shift as defined by the area leaders
• Primary point of contact for all escalation in the department
• Ensure safety of colleagues and equipment, and health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
• Act as interface between production and support services when issues are escalated
• Address colleague concerns that are escalated by the supervisor
• Coach and develop shift supervisors and team leaders 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in a technical or business field of study or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with 2 years of experience in a production leadership role in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Proven experience leading manufacturing teams, including a team of supervisors in charge of shift-based teams.
• Significant experience with Lean Manufacturing (TPS) including demonstrated successes in reducing waste in all forms.
• Proven track record of improving processes, reducing scrap, and improving labor efficiencies.
• Solid knowledge of product liability, product safety standards and customer specification requirements
• Distinct goal and result-oriented action
• Strong in communication, relationship and conflict management
• High level of commitment, flexibility and willingness to work in a team.
• Good knowledge of software applications used in production environment (e.g. SAP)
