The successful candidate will be an analytical, detail-oriented and creative thinker with an aptitude for computer technology, financial and database systems and the ability to learn financial and business concepts quickly. The candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to easily articulate complex ideas throughout various levels in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and contribute to the designing, coding, debugging, and testing of new and existing tools
  • Create, maintain, and update PowerBI dashboard for financial operations
  • Analyzing data/current systems to determine where improvements can be made to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Serves as an expert for the applications supported, with deep understanding of integration with the technical infrastructure
  • Skilled in the use of Structured Query Language as a tool for retrieving, updating, inserting, deleting, manipulating, and managing data stored in enterprise databases.
  • Research, assess and resolve production issues with current financial operations tools
  • Develop and incorporate streamlined efficiencies within our existing applications and processes
  • Analyze, understand and document new and existing business procedures for internal policy and compliance with internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Ensure technical best practices and Broadridge standards are adhered to on continuous basis
  • Build and manage relationships with business partners, including offshore-shared service department
  • Leadership in the development and implementation of web-based solutions

Qualifications:

A qualified individual should possess 7-10 years experience with:

  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Access, Excel, VBA , FoxPro, Power BI, Power Query, and Cognos
  • Flexible self-starter , who enjoys technical challenges/ problems with the ability to work on multiple projects with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, ideas, concepts, recommendations, technical and complex information clearly and concisely in a timely manner, at a level consistent with the audience
  • 5+ years of strong knowledge of Database concepts and Relational Database Management Systems (ie: Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and MS Access)
  • Experience with Oracle EBS Financials a plus
  • Experience with DB2, SharePoint, and/or Microsoft .Net a plus
  • Accounting experience a plus
  • Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Salary $90,000-110,000.
