Food Runner - Brew Brothers (Part-Time)

JOB SUMMARY:

Food Runner is responsible  for  the quick delivery of  all food orders taken by the Food Servers and Cocktail Servers, to the guest. Understands, anticipates and responds to internal customers needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and professional manner.  Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information to guests and finds answer when unsure. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department’s service standards.  Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments.  Speaks positively about the company, co-workers and customers.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for delivering cooked foods to the guests in a timely manner, and assisting food server as needed.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to team members
• Maintain composure in a stressful environment.
• Ensure food order is correct before serving to the guests.
• Monitor tables closely and is attentive to guests’ needs.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma/or GED.
• Must have at least 6 months of previous food server / running experience.
• Ability to work within a team and communicate with customers and team members
• Must speak English fluently, both in verbal and written form, and in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Must  be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp items
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, kneel, push and pull when rotating stock and cleaning work area 
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant interaction with the public. 
• Required to carry serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs., and may require lifting bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs. 
• Shifts may vary based on business needs. 
• Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
