Exercise Physiologist , Cardiac Rehab - Per Diem

Main Function:  Implements and supervises physical conditioning and aerobic exercise programs. Teaches patients and families regarding healthy lifestyles. 

 

Required Job Specific Competencies:

• CPR certification. ACLS certification. 

• PDMP/Cardiac Rehab competencies for skills within scope of practice.

 

Qualifications: 

• CPR required at date of hire. 
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Arrhythmia training required within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelors’ degree in Health, Physical Education, Exercise Physiology or related field required. 
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6 months of experience required with exercise testing, exercise prescription and consultation in a cardiovascular clinical area.

 

Pay Range: $21.00-26.00

Starting Rate: Based on experience
