The Opportunity
The Senior Project Coordinator will organize and execute multiple serial projects in support of Business Development opportunities. This position is based in Minnesota in the Electrophysiology Division.
What You’ll Work On
- Formulates and implements Business Development policies and procedures required to support profitable growth.
- Coordinates and directs resources needed to support Business Development initiatives.
- Interfaces with appropriate internal and external resources to ensure intellectual property is appropriately protected.
- Sets, forecasts, and tracks progress against Key Performance Indicators for all assigned Business Development projects. Prepare status summaries capturing such KPIs for efficient Sr Leadership review.
- Summarizes Business Development opportunities in a format that can be easily understood and communicated to Senior Leadership.
- Creates and maintains Business Development project files capturing all key documentation to support successful project execution.
- Plans and executes events involving physicians and third parties that support evaluation of opportunities and/or execution of agreements. Includes coordination of venues, travel and logistics arrangements and reporting, and third party contract management.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project schedule, budget, issues and risks.
- Works with Legal, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Medical Affairs to draft and coordinate approval of agreements including negotiation of contract terms with physicians and third parties.
- Reviews and revises contracts, agreements, and other documents related to a variety of Business Development matters to protect the organization's legal and business interests.
- Serves as back up to DVP Business Development, when needed.
- Documents and maintains archives for all business development activities such as plans, schedules, meeting minutes, management reviews, and departmental reviews utilizing the Business Development SharePoint site.
- Coordinates activities across functional areas from project initiation through completion, including working across Abbott business units and with third parties to ensure success.
- Creates agendas and tracks actions at Business Development Reviews.
- Other duties as assigned including management of travel arrangements, calendars, schedules, and meetings between the DVP Business Development and key third parties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a geographically diverse, matrixed organization
- Ability to initiate, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
- Highly proficient in
