The Department of Mining and Materials Engineering is inviting applications for the following course lecturer position in Summer 2025.
MIME 428 – Environmental Mining Engineering - Summer 2025
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: PhD in Mining Engineering or related field
Experience: Prior teaching and industrial experience preferred; some experience with GeoStudio or similar is an asset.
Additional Information: Strong communication skills. Eligibility for registration with a Canadian professional organization as either a PEng or PGeo. Knowledge of mineralogy and/or mineral processing in relation to tailings chemistry and/or acid mine drainage. Knowledge of the finite element method in the context of slopes and embankments.
