Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Architectural Senior Project Manager for immediate employment in our Miami, FL office. We have exciting opportunities for significant Athletic Venues & Mixed-Use Developments and multiple major Cruise Line projects. Applicants should have had exposure to Hospitality, Retail and Housing projects.
AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture.

The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to:
- Supports, oversees and coordinates architecture activities for an operating unit.
- Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.
- Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues. At this level, the individual will have demonstrated understanding of project delivery requirements, creativity, foresight, working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellence.
- Demonstrates mature judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual operations problems, determining operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse architectural activities.
- Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
- Manage project/program activities and multiple priorities.
- Analyze, monitor projects and program and prepare cost exposure reports and cash flow projections, maintaining comprehensive budgets, monitoring and maintaining schedules
- Manage daily staff assignments and participates in weekly staffing meetings
- Responsible for establishing project execution plans and implementing AECOM quality standards
- Leads project meetings
- Financial performance of the team and monitors staff sold time and work backlog
- Prepare responses and proposals to RFPs
- Responsible for solicitation, evaluation and selection of sub-consultants and contractors
- During the design management process, prepares estimates and value engineering analysis, peer reviews, and constructability reviews
- Oversee the processing of submittals, requests for information, shop drawings, substitution requests, change proposals and mods
