Job Overview

We have an opportunity for a PRN Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist provides:

• Evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care
• Patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral. 
• Documentation of care and coding
• Discharge planning and coordination
• Upon receiving a licensed practitioner referral, implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation utilizing a comprehensive, patient and family-centered approach to decision making incorporating the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model and the AMA CPT Codes.*This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities.

Qualifications

 

Required

• Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy 
• Licensed in state of practice
• Ability to interact effectively and sensitively with children and families of different developmental levels and cultural backgrounds
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

• At least 1 year of physical therapy experience 
• Pediatric experience
