Job Overview
We have an opportunity for a PRN Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team.
Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist provides:
- Evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care
- Patient/family education and transition of care, in an efficient, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive manner upon licensed independent practitioner referral.
- Documentation of care and coding
- Discharge planning and coordination
- Upon receiving a licensed practitioner referral, implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation utilizing a comprehensive, patient and family-centered approach to decision making incorporating the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model and the AMA CPT Codes.*This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensed in state of practice
- Ability to interact effectively and sensitively with children and families of different developmental levels and cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
- At least 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Pediatric experience
