About the role

Fixed Income Market Analyst (GG8)


YOU AND YOUR TEAM:
You will join the Fixed Income team of around 30 colleagues based in Gdynia, London, Tel Aviv and Bangalore. Altogether your major responsibility will be to maintain market events for bonds, develop relationship with market participants and perform quality control checks and respond to client questions. You will be much exposed to partner with a number of internal teams, which makes this job diverse and gives opportunity to learn constantly.

It is imperative to be able to present the accurate info about new issues as soon as they are priced in our flagship product, Workspace. Our customers, mostly international banks and asset managers, take advantage of your expertise to take their business decisions every day.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Process and maintain data/information accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using financial and technical knowledge.

  • Take ownership for data quality, timeliness, and completeness, and this includes root cause analysis and preventive measure implementation.

  • Research new and review existing sources to ensure that quality & timeliness improvement through simplification and automation opportunities.

  • Promote continuous improvement through research and analysis of queries/data quality control and seek efficiencies in work practices to achieve automation where possible.

  • Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback.

  • Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices in relevant markets and Monitor market events to anticipate the changes.

  • Daily Update of reports/timesheets/production reports.

  • Research and respond quickly to all client issues, adhering to quality goals for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

  • Optimally communicate with all relevant customers.

 
Qualifications & Experience

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Very good knowledge of English (+ French or other foreign language as an advantage)

  • Curiosity about Finance and knowledge in capital markets.

  • Practical knowledge of MS Excel.

  • Experience in sourcing information.

  • Attention to details.

YOU WILL BE EVEN MORE DRIVEN IF:

  • You have knowledge of Fixed Income markets.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance or Financial Mathematics or equivalent experience. Proficiency in SQL, along with curiosity and practical exposure to AI tools (e.g. Copilot).

Compensation Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł73,100 - zł116,900. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (”bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
