Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatric Primary Care Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds and is a community hospital dedicated to serving the health needs of all New Yorkers. Since opening in 1976, North Central Bronx has offered outstanding care for women’s health services, as well as primary care, pediatrics, and specialty ambulatory services. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Functions independently to complete history and physical data on patients, performs complete physical exams, and interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient needs.
• Completes physical exams to the extent of what is medically necessary in the normal course of treatment for a specific patients’ treatment.
• Collaborates with multi-specialty colleagues, working as an integral part of a world-class health system.
• Provides medical care in high-functional setting.
• Responsible for all patient interactions within area of service.
• May manage both acute and chronic conditions.

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $236,000* (board eligible); $241,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $355,120** (board eligible) and $360,620** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
