For Conductor, success is improving the lives of all the people in our orbit—our customers, our customers' customers, our employee-owners, and our communities.</p> <p>To support our Customer and Business Engineering Team, we are looking for a new:</p> <p><strong>(Senior) Backend Software Developer Python (m/f/d) </strong></p> <p>(Berlin or remote in Germany/ Full-time/ Permanent Contract)</p> <p> <strong>Your Tasks: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and implement data storage structures and scalable, distributed ETL pipelines to bring disparate data sources into a unified data lake</li> <li>Maintain Microservices, monitor Data Pipelines and ETL processes to proactively address any issues and ensure predictable delivery of data assets</li> <li>Develop and enhance internal reporting platform</li> <li>Develop and design procedures, systems and measurement tools to improve business processes</li> <li>Identify and improve upon current internal processes through automation and optimization</li> <li>Partner with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to define data models to support reporting and dashboards to track KPIs that drive business decisions</li> <li>Partner with stakeholders from across the organization, including Engineering, Product, CS, Sales and Marketing, to understand data requirements and business objectives</li> <li>Help the organization grow and scale by enhancing customer engagement, understanding customer behavior and automating user outreach</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Profile: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Completed studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience</li> <li>Several years of professional experience in Python with good knowledge of building and maintaining Microservices, Object-oriented programming and producing production ready code</li> <li>Strong proficiency with SQL and Database/ Datawarehouse technologies, especially familiarity with NoSQL and Data lake technology  </li> <li>Strong Proficiency with APIs and data transformations</li> <li>Professional understanding of CI/CD processing</li> <li>Proficiency with Cloud computing technologies (AWS (S3, SQS, EC2, Athena, etc.), Google Cloud Platform, etc.) and modern containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)</li> <li>Familiarity with technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Go, Java, Scala or similar languages and experiences with AI/ML techniques are a plus</li> <li>Analytical, proactive, structural and implementation-oriented thinking, combined with a solution- and goal-oriented hands-on personality, who is comfortable working across stacks in an organization without silos and taking ownership of end-to-end problem-solving.</li> <li>Professional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate your work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p></p> <h3><strong>Your Benefits:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Friendly, open-minded and helpful international colleagues</li> <li>Access to the learning platform LinkedIn Learning</li> <li>Soft drinks and fruit as well as regular breakfast and pizza days</li> <li>Team and company events</li> <li>Urban Sports (M) or Fitness First membership</li> <li>28 days vacation at the start, 30 days after two years</li> <li>Company pension allowance</li> <li>Dog-friendly office </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Interested?
