Purpose
Programmatic coordination for Black Studies Collective.
Responsibilities
Operational development. Establish operational function of for BSC. Work with Director of Operations to create operational structure for major components for the collective. Create, implement operational policies to help maintain structure. Coordinate with all staff to create structure. Draft internal communication plan and messages for the BSC.
Program management. Oversee the organization of course curriculum and faculty affairs projects. Build and maintain program management calendar, including adhering to milestones. Report status to Director of Operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree plus at least five (5) years of related administrative and/or programmatic experience, preferably in a large organization. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate to a large population. Demonstrated adaptability and history of service-minded approach to executing job functions. Success working both in a team setting and independently. Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects while proactively communicating to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with more than five (5) years of relevant experience. Knowledge of University of Texas at Austin policies involving faculty affairs, student affairs, accounting, purchasing, and travel. Operational experience working in an academic department/center.
Hourly Rate
$25.00
Working Conditions
Attire: Business attire.

The work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
