The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. Our seven room OR handles specialized orthopedic cases, including total joint cases, spinal discs and fusions, general surgery, urology, GYN, Neuro and plastic surgery. plus, all C-sections.
Park City Hospital is implementing a robotics program in April of 2023. RNs and surgical techs will be trained in working cases that utilize the new DaVinci robot.
Surgical Services shifts are primarily Monday-Friday, daytime work and allow for 10- and 12-hour shifts equaling prn, part- or full-time hours depending on personal circumstances and availability. Some limited evening shifts with a set schedule are available for the person who wants to work off-hours allowing for family or school obligations. Due to emergencies and late cases, evening and weekend call for daytime staff is required.

Full-Time
We offer variable shifts, days shifts and night shifts
This position is eligible for a 10% differential in addition to your salary offered (geographical differential as well as a critical need differential).
Differentials evaluated on a yearly basis
Relocation assistance offered (amount varies by geographical location)

RN Minimum Qualifications:
- Current RN License in state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills.
- RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN degree within five years of their start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
