POSITION SUMMARY:
The YMCA of Southern Nevada is looking for a Front Desk Attendant. You will perform reception duties including greeting guests, processing memberships and program registrations, and providing members with information about our programs and services. This is a part-time, in-person position (up to 25 hours/week) located at the Durango Hills YMCA (3521 N Durango Drive, Las Vegas).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote, sell, and process membership enrollments.
- Process special program and camp registrations.
- Operate computerized cash register.
- Greet members in person and over the phone with a customer friendly attitude.
- Monitor building access.
- Develop a positive work relationship with staff and members.
ABUSE RISK MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS:
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with children.
- Attend required abuse risk management training.
- Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
- Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
- Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
