About the Team

We're the team that drives the product and strategy for Workday’s secret sauce - our technology platform that is designed from scratch for multi-cloud deployment. . We own the complete stack and tools that delivers and supports Workday products across private and public clouds (e.g. AWS, GCP). We enable Workday's scale: ~50% of Fortune 500 companies, 8000+ customers, 55M+ Workers, ~365B Transactions.
We own cloud based engineering environments with Workday stack for developers and testers, and CI/CD pipelines. We are at the core of the Workday developer experience, and are building next generation environments and services used by 5000+ Workday engineers. We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and influential Senior Technical Product Manager for this team.

About the Role

Are you excited by the challenge to craft and build systems for scale to enable Workday’s next phase of growth? Do you have subject matter expertise in developer platforms, cloud infrastructure or database technologies? You will partner with our large user base, cloud operators and partners to define the product strategy, roadmap, and investment focus areas. You will collaborate with engineering teams to identify, specify, and prioritize features to implement and deliver on the roadmap and optimize business outcomes and key initiatives. You will have the ability to understand and make decisions in a fast-paced high-stakes environment. Above all, you will serve as the voice of the customer for our products and voice of the product to our customers. The ability to influence without authority within a highly matrixed environment and a passion for continuous improvement will be instrumental to success.

About You

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years building cloud scale products in SaaS, PaaS, or B2B.
• BA/BS in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience

• An inherently collaborative style that enables you to win the hearts and minds of your peers to efficiently implement a complex product roadmap, with execution often happening across teams.
• Excellent communications and influencing skills across all levels of a large organization, as well as with external partners and collaborators.
• The sort of personality who thrives in taking ownership and driving strategy, roadmap, and execution in a fast-moving, quickly changing atmosphere. . 
• MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
