Role Description:

Do you want to learn more about LSEG’s use of public cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI? Do you have an interest in Cyber Security and Cloud engineering? If yes, then applying for this role of Senior Cloud Security Engineer may be a perfect fit for you! The Senior Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for engineering security controls and improving our tooling automation in Cloud security which includes working with CheckPoint CloudGuard, engineering platform security controls, developing in python and terraform, working on priority tasks and answering questions from our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret cloud security control requirements from the Cloud Security Architecture team.
- Research and experiment with cloud security control techniques and capabilities.
- Integrate delivery of cloud landing zone controls via the CET pipeline and processes.
- Integrate cloud security controls with other supporting Cyber Security services (e.g. GSOC SIEM).
- Package and deliver cloud security controls to be implemented by cloud application teams.
- Maintain cloud security controls including required enhancements and bug fixes.
- Support the Cloud Security Operations and GSOC teams with security control usage questions and issues.
- Mentor junior cloud security engineers.
