HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Field Engineer to work on multiple DoD programs. The selected candidate will support the design, build, troubleshooting, delivery and maintenance of numerous trainers and test systems.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the Identification and resolution of electronic system issues both on site and remotely.
- Support the design, build, and delivery of the hardware and operating systems on multiple programs.
- Perform routine maintenance, including basic troubleshooting, installation of upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct sustainment activities at the Huntsville office as well as travel to customer sites, as required.
- Explore ways to improve current designs and improve our customer support activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- Must have strong ability to read and interpret wiring schematics.
- Must be proficient with troubleshooting of complex electronic systems.
- Must be proficient with build-up of electronic systems.
- Must be proficient with the use of various test equipment to include multimeters and Oscilloscopes, etc.
- Must be proficient in creating reports and presentations with Microsoft Office 365 products.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to clients, stakeholders, and team members in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be a self-starter able to work independently or as part of a larger professional team.
- US Secret Security clearance required at hire
- Must be willing to travel occasionally.
Preferred Requirements
- 9 years experience with an associate degree in a technical or related field; High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant progressive experience.
- Previous military electronics experience.
- Previous experience working with DoD programs.
- Good knowledge on computer/board operational characteristics.
- Proficiency with reading and interpreting wiring and design documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Navy shipboard Alarms, Announcing and Radar systems and Apache Fire Control Radar a plus
