The Hardscape Installation Specialist: Skilled Trades/Mechanic is responsible for performing skilled trades duties as it relates to heavy equipment operation, including upkeep and maintenance. The hardscape installation specialist's duties include new construction of garden spaces, specialty rock setting, and expertise to strategize and achieve project implementation. The Hardscape Installation Specialist: Skilled Trades/Mechanic will operate equipment for the enhancement of Garden planting areas, including soil improvement, grading and drainage, maintenance of trails and stream corridors, and general improvements. This position will also be responsible for the routine care and maintenance of the equipment. This position will oversee hourly employees.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

• Experience in routine garden maintenance in the areas of water features, trails, roads, and facilities

• Heavy equipment operation experience

• Experience maintaining heavy equipment

• Experience repairing and maintaining landscaping equipment
