 Position Summary: The Accounting Clerk will assist with a variety of administrative accounting functions. Qualifications Required:            Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administrative, accounts payable/receivable, or customer relations role.            General knowledge of accounting is a plus.            Proficiency in operating a computer and Microsoft Office Software.            Previous Experience with Yardi software is a plus. Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:             N/A Functions and Responsibilities:             Responsible for organizing site collections and bank deposits.            Research vendor transactions for duplicate invoices or duplicate payments.            Research and resolve accounts payable inquiries.            Perform administrative responsibilities for the Accounting Department such as filing invoices and mortgage payments.            Process and distribute mail.            Assist with accounting-related projects as needed.            Perform other related duties as assigned.  Physical Demands:  Position requires work to be performed in an office setting.  Extensive use of a computer, keyboard and mouse; requires walking talking, seeing and hearing.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  Work Environment: Work takes place in an office setting with moderate noise levels.  Occasional travel may be required.
