We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. Our Americas Compliance team, in particular, is responsible for ensuring our OKCoin entities that operate in the Americas meet local regulatory requirements, including regulatory reporting, program oversight, board reporting, and examination support.   What You'll be Doing:   This role will provide senior level analyst support for the Americas Compliance team, including but not limited to: managing ongoing state regulatory reporting, keeping our money transmitter licenses up-to-date and in good standing, participating in state examinations and internal audits, and assisting in the execution of the team’s annual roadmap. The ideal candidate will be a crypto-forward individual with either basic knowledge of how virtual currency is regulated or a passion to learn.

• Be part of a team responsible for the region’s Compliance programs. Participate in program discussions with regulators, auditors, and other third parties
• Be responsible for maintaining OKCoin USA’s existing money transmitter/virtual asset licenses and assisting with new license applications. Work cross functionally to ensure deadlines are met and information is accurate
• Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines for regulatory reporting, license management, new license applications, and examination navigation
• Support team priorities by driving and executing on program initiatives of varying levels of scope & complexity
• Assist with the disposition of operations escalations
• Proactively identify compliance risks and consult with key partners in Compliance, Legal, Risk and other parts of the company to ensure all pertinent risks are adequately addressed
• Stay apprised of changes in the crypto economy and regulatory environment; assist with regulatory change management

  What We Look For in You:

• 4+ years of experience in related compliance/risk function within financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries.
• Ability to manage, on a day-to-day basis, an intricate program of Compliance reporting and license maintenance tasks
• Knowledge and understanding of financial services regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT requirements, sanctions, and consumer risks with familiarity applying compliance frameworks to crypto assets and products.
• Foundational knowledge of the crypto economy with a strong desire to learn more
• Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks
• Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  Nice to Haves:

• Experience managing money transmitter licenses, including use of NMLS and state-specific portals
• Knowledge of state-specific regulatory statutes and requirements
• Prior experience in a Compliance/Legal/Risk function at a crypto company
• CAMS, PMI, or equivalent certification
