Northrop Grumman Financial Shared Service Center is seeking an Accounting Assistant 3 to support the Accounts Payable Non-Purchase Order (Non-PO) Team. The selected individual will report to the Manager of Accounts Payable and will utilize SAP S4 and Open Text to support Accounts Payable Non-PO functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Company Policies and Procedures, Disclosure Statements, and Government Regulations.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Timely and accurate processing of Non-PO Invoices
- Other assigned Ad Hoc Tasks and Reporting
- Utilize SAP S4 and OpenText to perform Accounts Payable Non-PO Processing
- Perform accounting activities within the context of GAAP, FAR and Corporate Policies and Procedures
- Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills to help resolve external and internal inquiries
- Ability to work independently and provide exceptional customer service for Non-PO inquiries
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned
- The ability to clearly and professionally communicate
- Supports Month-End
- The ability to multitask and work independently to meet Service Delivery Agreements
We are seeking a candidate with the following:
- Customer Service Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
- Intermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word and Outlook
- Understanding Accounts Payable and Accounting Cycle
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP / S4 Experience
- 2 to 4 years A/P Experience
- Associates Degree or higher in Accounting / Finance
- Experience in a Financial Shared Service Center
- Advance Excel Skills
