Manager – Facility Design and Construction -IT
As a Manager for FDC-IT, you will be responsible for overseeing Project Management within the Facility Design and Construction-IT team and will be reporting into Director of FDC-IT. The role manages all the Project Management resources and facilitates the team’s ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and vendors across the enterprise.
- Oversee day to day operations of Project Management team supporting project assignment, issue escalation/barrier resolution, troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement planning.
- Create culture of excellence among Project Managers to cultivate trusted, strong relationships across the enterprise optimizing the role of people, process, and technology.
- Scope out new projects, create project budgets, ensure milestones and scope are realistic.
- Monitor, track, report out on performance of project portfolio for executive leadership.
- Stay abreast of institutional priorities, emerging industry trends, regulatory changes.
- Works with internal/external contacts:
- Work with outside consultants during the life cycle of a project, may work with third party Vendors in the acquisition or development of software products, Interacts with Business Unit Management regularly.
- Keeps management and department apprised of program progress, milestones and issue resolution.
- Collaborates with department/project teams to assist in the design and implementation of internal operational policies and procedures resulting from solution installations and upgrades.
- Manage and assist in the development of feasibility studies and business plans in support of Line of Business, Support, and Senior/Executive initiatives.
- Participate in the execution and implementation of corporate initiatives and change events to help ensure both divisional and corporate goals and objectives are achieved.

Located at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, the center will set a new standard for superior patient experience, convenience, and quality care. This position is 100% on-site at NYP The One Building/1111. The hours are generally Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. Travel required to other sites.
Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
- CISCO, ITIL, PMP Certification
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager/ in Project Management

- Proficiency in Unifier, Smartsheets, MS Projects, MS Office, Service Now and construction drawings
- Influencer – is able to develop effective relationships and credibility with local team members who may not directly report to them.

- Problem structuring / resolution – seeks to understand the core of an issue before solving. Once understood, moves to resolve the issue in a timely and collaborative effort.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field or related work experience of at least 5-7 years
- 5 or more years of solid experience in a Technical Manager/ Technical Project Management.
