Maintenance Technician I

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining machinery to ensure safety and productivity. This position is accountable for product safety, quality, and legality.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain machinery in the co-pack area.
  • Maintain machinery in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Ensure the work area complies with current safety standards.
  • Understand and assist in the Equipment Validation Process.
  • Use eMaint for troubleshooting, capturing repairs, and documenting maintenance tasks.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and Co-Pack Supervisors.

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0--2 years of experience performing mechanical maintenance duties in a manufacturing or packaging environment, or equivalent vocational education and experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and maintenance skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong team player.

  • Ability to conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds
