We are looking for a Technical Project Manager in Burlingam, CA to join our growing team in the US!

Job Description:

Qualitest is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our client's technology team. Our client's team applies a range of software & computer vision techniques to develop 3D AR apps for business applications. TPM will create inter-team processes, plan, set allocation/prioritization of resources, and track usage of team resources in a datacenter. This will involve managing a range of monitoring tools related to hardware, software, and people. Major focuses will be on driving this initiative to create and implement inter-team processes.

Job Responsibilities

-Excels at creating and implementing inter-team processes

-Coordination of efforts between cross-functional teams using newly implemented processes

-Own the cross-team process implementation project plan and drive stakeholders to achieve project goals and timelines

-Work with internal tools and datacenter engineers to analyze data to identify problematic areas and highlight key data points

-Good organizational skills including use of Excel/Word/Outlook

-Work to identify opportunities to automate tasks in the inter-team processes

-Ability to identify clear deliverables for the inter-team processes project and set appropriate goals

-Hold regular, meaningful standup meetings to determine progress and quickly identify blocking issues

-Ability to navigate on the command line and fluent with command line tools (cd, ls, running Python scripts)

-Help create and publish meaningful project dashboards to track metrics for stakeholders to review

Requirements

-Strong background in project management or project coordination across cross functional teams

-Good planning and execution skills

-In-depth knowledge of datacenter operations

-Ability to read and understand data center dashboards

-Very familiar with system boundaries and capabilities like CPU, disk space, and network bandwidth limitations

-Ability to spot potential growth limitations in datacenter environments

-Strong sense of personal accountability

-Strong ability to work autonomously

-Ability to multi-task effectively

-Effective verbal and written communications skills

-Some technical knowledge with scripting languages like Python to help create and modify reporting dashboards

-Ability to navigate on the command line and run basic CLI commands

-Strong extroverted personality and excellent inter-personal communications skills

-Ability to take initiative and own a problem through resolution regardless of blocking dependencies

-Be able to unblock themselves where reasonable

-Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments

-Good documentation skills for reporting, status updates, and written communication

-Ability to learn new tools that are built in-house

Must Haves:

1) System Engineering Background

2) PCU/GPU Bandwidth/Program management

3) Strong Communication skills
