Job Description
Isobar Public Sector is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer. Successful candidates should have senior knowledge and hands-on experience in development of cybersecurity architecture with a strong "security first" mindset. In this role you will be responsible for safeguarding information systems assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.

What You’ll Do
- Function as a technical expert across the team; planning and leading major technology assignments.
- Development of cybersecurity architecture with ability to adapt quickly to evolving requirements.
- Evaluate performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Responsible for safeguarding information systems assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
- Continuous monitoring of live cyber environments for potential attacks, vulnerabilities, and log analysis.
- Responsible to maintain and improve a platform Authority to Operate (ATO) in cloud environments and have hands-on experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) security assessments.
- Document assessments and processes and Communicate the outcomes of assessments to leadership.
Who You Are
- A US Citizen and possess a Secret Security Clearance.
- Advanced understanding in agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- 3 plus years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing security into infrastructure, platforms, and software.
- Strong understanding of physical security threats and countermeasures.
- 3 plus years of experience in software and security testing, especially with containerized applications.
- Experience with running red team/blue team security games and analysis.
- Experience with Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.), Security Products, network vulnerability scanning platforms.
- Demonstrated cybersecurity experience with linux operating systems.
- 2 plus years of experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience hardening Kubernetes and containers a plus.
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
- XACTA and EMASS experience preferred.
- Specific knowledge of NIST RMF 800-53 controls a plus.
