Prep Cook

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Prep Cook to join our team at our full-service restaurant. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting the kitchen team in creating high-quality dishes for our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring

- Assist in the preparation of dishes, such as soups, salads, and entrees

- Follow recipes and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are prepared in a timely manner

- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Prep Cook in a full-service restaurant setting

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Ability to follow recipes and prepare ingredients accurately and efficiently

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
